Disaster Relief Chaplaincy Training

Your work as a chaplain meets people in their physical and spiritual hurt and offers them hope through Christ.

Any current disaster relief volunteer may complete the extended chaplaincy training. To learn how to effectively minister to those who suffering physically, emotionally, and spiritually following a disaster, attend one of our chaplaincy trainings below.

• $30 for current volunteers (includes housing, meals and chaplain t-shirt)
• To recredential, you will need to attend Introduction to Disaster Relief Training. Visit the Recredentialing Volunteers page for training opportunities.
• 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Saturday
• Your pastor or associational missions strategist will need to complete a recommendation letter for you. Please register for your preferred location below, then download this document and have them submit it to the DR office.
