Our Muslim neighbors are more open to gospel conversations than we might imagine, but we often do not know how to start the conversation or keep it going.

Learn practical methods for reaching your Muslim neighbor with the gospel at this event on March 29 and April 5. Both events are from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm local time. See more information and register below.

In partnership with the Jenkins Center for a Christian Understanding of Islam, the Evangelism Team will provide practical equipping for reaching our Muslim neighbors with the gospel followed by the opportunity to go out and practice evangelism alongside KBC-endorsed church planters. Participants will receive a copy of Reaching Your Muslim Neighbor with the Gospel.

Keynote Speakers

Dr. Ayman Ibrahim serves as Professor of Islamic Studies at Southern Seminary and is the Director of the Jenkins Center for a Christian Understanding of Islam. Ibrahim was born and raised in Egypt and has taught in various countries in both the Western and Muslim world. He is the author of several books including A Concise Guide to Islam, Reaching Your Muslim Neighbor with the Gospel, Conversion to Islam, and Basics of Arabic. He is a member of Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. He has been married to Emily for 11 years.

Rob Patterson serves as the Leader of the Evangelism Team and has been with the Kentucky Baptist Convention since 2017. He is incredibly passionate about helping churches reach Kentucky and the world for Christ. Previously he served as a Team Strategy Leader for the International Mission Board, SBC, planting multiplying churches among people groups in the Amazon Basin. He also has experience serving churches in Kentucky and Tennessee. A graduate of Carson Newman University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, he is a contributing author to works such as Lead to Revitalize, For the Kingdom’s Sake, and the Sunday School How To Manual. He is the incredibly blessed husband of Jenny, who has been his helpmate in ministry for over thirty years, and they are the proud parents of Hannah and Haley Grace. When not discipling others to become fishers of men, there is nothing Rob enjoys more than fishing or being outdoors with friends and family.
