PIKEVILLE—Kentucky Baptist messengers welcomed 19 churches, approving them for affiliation with the Kentucky Baptist Convention, during their annual meeting in Pikeville in November.
The new congregations are: Ashland Church, Richmond; Chief Cornerstone Church, Mayfield; Mayfield Church, Crab Orchard; Fellowship Church of Louisville, Louisville; Flatrock Fellowship, Woodburn; Gospel Community Church, Owensboro; Fuente De Vida Church, Louisville; Iglesia Bautista de Crestwood, Crestwood;
Jacob’s Well Church, Mt. Vernon; Mission Church, Lexington; Sojourn Church, Corbin; Williamsburg Street Lighthouse Church, Whitley City; Zomi Church, Owensboro; Raikes Hill Church, Elkhorn; Haitian Bethe Churchl, Louisville; Mercy Ridge Community Church, Dry Ridge Church; Riverside Church, Greensburg; and Vida Nueva Church, Louisville.
“We’re thankful for these churches, for their ministry in their local communities, and for their desire to work cooperatively with 2,400 other congregations across the state to get the gospel to the nations,” said then KBC Executive Director Paul Chitwood. (WR)
