Carl Mullins of Dry Ridge, a long-time Kentucky Baptist pastor, died July 7 in Warsaw after an extended illness. He was 77.

Mullins was a member of Inez Baptist Church. His former pastorates include Demossville Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Salyersville, Warfield Baptist Church, Mouthcard Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of West Liberty, Cherryville Baptist Church in Lawrence County, and Topmost Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Eileen Rebekah Mullins, he is survived by a daughter, Virginia Bishop of Union; two sons, Carl Dwayne Mullins, of Cordova, and Richard Mullins, of Wittensville; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and three sisters.

Funeral services were held July 11 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Memorials are suggested to the Missions Department of the Kentucky Baptist Convention. (WR)
