With over forty years of lead pastor experience in churches large and small, Barry Jeffries is humbled to serve the pastors, churches, and associations of the Central Region of Kentucky Baptists. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Doctrine from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, a Master of Divinity in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is working toward a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Susan Gay, are parents of three grown children and grandparents to five grandchildren.
How Barry helps churches:
Barry serves the pastors, churches, and associational leaders of the Central Region. He wants churches to thrive in service to Christ and His great commission. He is available for individual church consultations and provides training on numerous aspects of church life, including but not limited to the pastor search process, church vitality and growth, church revitalization, leadership development, discipleship, and conflict resolution. Barry meets regularly with pastors to listen and provide direction as they lead their churches. Additionally, he collaborates with associational leaders to provide specialized training and resources.
