Cadiz—Director of Missions Mike Rust has announced his plans to retire, effective May 10, from Little River Baptist Association in western Kentucky.
Rust, who has served Little River for the past 12 years, has agreed to remain on the job a couple days a week until a new DOM is selected.
“Mike has been a leader with the western Kentucky DOM network and will be missed,” said Eric Allen, leader of the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s Missions Mobilization team. “I appreciate the passion Mike shows in everything he does.”
Allen called on Kentucky Baptists to pray for Rust and his wife, Debbie, as they transition into retirement, and to pray for the associational leaders as they prayerfully seek the Lord for their next DOM. (KBC)
