The Kentucky Baptist All-State Children's Choir is an auditioned choir made up of young musicians from Baptist churches throughout Kentucky. Members are chosen by audition and, once selected, may continue to participate from fourth grade through sixth grade.
The choir meets together for one weekend in late April. Choir members receive music several weeks ahead of the rehearsal weekend, and local church choir directors help the children prepare for the music. When the choir comes together, it spends several hours "polishing" the music and preparing for performances presented in churches on Sunday.

Auditions are to be recorded by ministers of music or children's choir leaders in Kentucky Baptist churches. They are due in to the Worship and Music Department by Wednesday, February 15.
Singers in grades 4-6 who were members of honor choirs for KMEA/KCDA/ACDA and are active in Kentucky Baptist churches are automatically accepted into the All-State Children's Choir.

After registering to audition, the confirmation notice will include a video with step-by-step instructions for recording the audition.
NOTE: The Audition Form is not available for download since there are items on it that singers are not meant to see ahead of the audition time. These forms will be sent to the minister of music or children's choir leader upon receipt of the church's registration.
