New student Kaymon Noble, from Fort Wayne, Indiana, is glad to be settled into a place that he knows he will be able to stay for a while.
“Growing up with my family I never really lived in a house longer than a year,” says Noble. “I knew that there had to be something far better than a new house every few months. I began going to church at a young age with my grandma. I switched schools my 8th grade year and went to a country school where I met my friends Aaron and Kaylynn. They invited me to go to church with them and on January 29th, 2012 I gave my life to Christ.”
“As soon as I gave my life to Christ, I began praying about what His will was for me,” says Noble. “Through conversations with my pastor over our time together the Lord began to deal with me about a calling to preach. My friends Aaron and Kari were leaving to attend Clear Creek at the same time. After they got to campus I continued to stay in touch with them inquiring about Clear Creek. They told me that it was a small college and the teaching was amazing. I instantly knew this was the place for me. I visited the campus my senior year of high school and God confirmed this was where I needed to be.”
“I am in love with the school and everything here,” say Noble. “I was attracted by the looks and the sounds of the school, but the personality of what is inside of it has kept me here. I see the love that the faculty and staff have for the Lord and for the students. This isn’t a school for one specific age group. It’s a school for the Christian that wants to better their ministry and get closer to our God. I am 18 years old and I have seen people over 50 years old attending classes here. You will not be a number or a dollar sign in anyone’s eyes here. You will feel loved, you will be challenged and most importantly you will grow closer to God. This is a place that you will not want to leave.”
