Erlanger—Northern Kentucky Association is celebrating churches that have been on mission trips this summer: Hickory Grove Baptist Church: fourth year to Lac Du Flambeau Indian Reservation in Wisconsin, where they did a sports camp/VBS (five decisions). Mike and Jeannie Jones led a group from Big Bone Church in Walton on a mission trip to India, and another Big Bone group went to Haiti (four decisions). Fairlane Church went to Vanderhoof, British Columbia, where they performed archery camps at an Indian reservation and a church (nine decisions).
Burlington Church, led by Jeff Perry, minister to families/students, took a World Changers group to Puerto Rico (two decisions), and another group traveled to Antigua, Guatemala. Mark Webb and a team from First Church of Highland Heights went to Leon, Nicaragua, with a team from South Carolina and built a new church building and drinking well.

MAYFIELD—Graves County Association had 57 people from four churches (Pilot Oak, Liberty, Northside and Wingo) travel to Omaha, Neb., in July. They worked on three properties, each of which housed three congregations. They held backyard Bible clubs, Vacation Bible School, sports camp and worship services.
Graves County also had two churches (Mayfield First and Bell City) travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. Three block parties were held for church planter Jonathan Land. Mayfield First also sent a mission team to Sacaton, Ariz., to work with First Church, Pima, and on an Indian reservation. They held Vacation Bible Schools and completed a construction project.

SEDALIA—Delores Hanks, wife of Virgil Hanks, pastor of the Rhodes Chapel Church in Graves County, died Aug. 20. She was 70.
