In the “Day 1” devotional from the Gospel to Every Home 40 Days of Prayer Guide, the focus scripture points us to Jonah 1:2. This verse shows God’s direct calling and instruction for Jonah to “get up, go and proclaim God’s judgment” to Nineveh. The rest of the book goes on to explain Jonah’s disobedience and the need to be swallowed by a giant fish to comply with God’s command.

At this year’s Kentucky WMU Missions Celebration and Annual Meeting, participants will be challenged to live relentlessly — demonstrating an authentic faith in Christ, seeking God in prayer, giving sacrificially and witnessing to others. As we unpack the text of Hebrews 10:39, we will “Call out the Called” to take their faith to the next level.
This April 16-17, WMU will gather for the 2021 Missions Celebration and Annual Meeting in Shelbyville. We invite you to join us as we encourage one another in missions and pray for our missionaries and missions efforts around our state and the world.
We will feature Nik and Ruth Ripken (IMB), Todd Gray (KBC), Rob Patterson (KBC), Send Relief missionaries from Graffiti2 in the South Bronx and newly-appointed KBC missionaries. Worship will be led by Justin and Hollye Hornsby from FBC McKinney, Texas. Kentucky WMU will partner with the Shelby Baptist Association to offer a special Gospel to Every Home mission project at the closing of the event. You don’t want to miss it!
