Have you ever wondered how you can partner with Clear Creek Baptist Bible College? One way is through volunteering in a work group. Volunteers are a very important part in the make-up of Clear Creek. Work groups come in throughout the year and give of their time and talents to help us do a wide variety of maintenance and construction projects around campus. Many volunteer mission groups come during the summer so that their youth can get involved in ministry, while others come throughout the year. We are always amazed and appreciative of the work that these groups conduct.

One such group is the Carpenters for Christ team out of Sandersville, Ga. On Nov. 11, this group, led by Mike Sheppard, completed its 20th year of ministering to the staff, faculty and students of Clear Creek. Their project this year included replacing the upstairs carpet in the campus library. Within just a couple of days, their work was finished, but the impact of their work will be far reaching. We always enjoy getting to see them on campus year after year.

Many of the men and women who came this year have been volunteers since the late 1990s. The Carpenters for Christ come to campus twice a year. To put that into perspective, they have conducted 40 mission trips to Clear Creek to do anything that is needed. They have framed and built duplexes for students to live in and have constructed the roof on our classroom building, to name a few projects. Demolition and remodeling buildings is no stranger to this group of hard working people. There is virtually no building at Clear Creek that has gone untouched by the Carpenters for Christ. They have even gone as far as painting every road and parking line on campus, hanging drywall, and re-siding homes.

By offering their time and talents, Carpenters for Christ has partnered with Clear Creek in our global mission to spread the good news of Jesus Christ by training God-called men and women for ministry. Clear Creek has been blessed by the willingness and faithfulness of these volunteers for many years.
