Deaf Ministry

We assist associations and churches in the planting and development of deaf congregations and ministries.

• We offer consultation to churches and association in deaf ministry.
• We provide interpreters as possible.
• We resource deaf ministry church plants.
• We assist in the development of deaf ministry committees.

There are many exciting opportunities for the deaf or hearing impaired and their families to connect with one another – and with God –throughout Kentucky. In addition to the dozens of deaf churches and ministries, special events are held each year.

Our deaf ministries consultant also serves as a liaison between the convention and the Kentucky Baptist Conference of the Deaf and the Southern Baptist Conference of the Deaf.

This ministry also receives funding from the Eliza Broadus Offering for State Missions.
