Plenary Session Topics

Effective Evangelism That is Actually Working in Churches
Trends and practices taking place among churches in North America where congregations are effectively reaching people with the gospel and assimilating them. We are seeing patterns develop that can be used immediately to help churches turn around or grow healthier.
The Spiritual Mechanics of Church Revitalization
The default tendency of many church leaders is to do certain activities associated with church growth, following the successful patterns of other leaders. However, there is another side of Church Revitalization that needs serious exploration. The Spiritual Mechanics of Revitalization delves into topics that the church has avoided for far too long. These topics are at the heart of the problem, the cause of many churches’ decline, and the reason many pastors quit.
Dreams, Dangers, and Directions: Insights on Vision to Use Today!
Practical ideas for developing and communicating vision to use right away.

Breakout Session Topics

30 Days to Jumpstart Evangelistic Revitalization in Your Church
Description: Actual practices of breakout evangelistic churches. This session focuses upon detailed and granular information about churches that have moved from declining and non-evangelistic to growing and evangelistic. Rather than theory, it focuses on specific steps they have taken.
The Role of Preaching In Revitalization
A workshop in how to use biblical preaching to focus, lead and animate a church to see growth, maturity and impact.  Strategies and methods will be shared that will fit in any context.
Healthy Spirituality for the Revitalization Pastor
“Healthy Pastors lead healthy churches” is the fundamental truth for the revitalization pastor. This breakout looks at the issues, conflicts, trauma, and pain of revitalization. Then, Dr. Rials offers practical help in the way of scriptural guidance, best practices, tools, and resources for pastors to begin and complete a revitalization project successfully with their sanity, their marriage, and their church intact!
The Vision Pathway: Understanding and Overcoming Barriers to Implementing Your Vision
Implementing vision is more difficult than it first appears. This session identifies the common barriers which must be overcome, and offers ideas on what to do, to see your vision become reality.
