Ellizabethtown—Messengers to the Kentucky Baptist Convention adopted a Cooperative Program Budget Goal of $21.5 million for 2016-2017, raising the bar by a quarter million dollars.
The adopted budget divides Cooperative Program funds from Kentucky churches evenly between Kentucky Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention causes, distributing 10,750,000, or 50 percent to each, after allocating 7 percent for shared CP resourcing.
The budget recommendation was approved by the KBC Mission Board on Monday.
