Campbellsville—Frank Page, president and chief executive officer of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee, will be guest speaker for Campbellsville University’s Baptist Heritage Lecture Series Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Banquet Hall of the Badgett Academic Support Center.
He also will be speaking on Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. in Ransdell Chapel on the Campbellsville University campus. Both events are open to the public.
As president and CEO of the SBC Executive Committee, Page oversees the denomination’s work of over 46,000 churches with more than 16 million members. He was president of the Southern Baptist Convention from 2006-2008.
Before moving to Nashville, Page served as vice president for the Evangelization Group at the North American Mission Board and also was pastor of Taylors First Baptist Church, near Greenville, S.C.
A native of North Carolina, Page was educated at Gardner Webb University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. (CU)
