Tommy Johnson has served as the Regional Campus Minister at Western Kentucky University since 2004. He also serves as the Campus Ministry Group Leader. He previously served as the International Student Campus Minister for the KBC. Tommy is the author of Journey of Discipleship: Becoming a Disciple of Jesus. He holds an M. Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a MA in counseling from WKU. He and his wife Angela, who is from Brazil, have two children, Benjamin and Gabriela. Tommy is a sports enthusiast and especially loves basketball.
How Tommy helps churches:
Tommy engages the campus of Western Kentucky University to share the gospel with college students, make disciples, connect students to the local church, and help them become leaders living on mission. He also helps develop new BCM work on campuses in the Bowling Green region and assists church leaders in reaching this generation of college students. As Campus Ministry Group Leader, Tommy helps coordinate collegiate ministry across the state.
