Church leaders and chaperones are vital to KSWC!
According to the Kentucky Baptist Convention's recently revised policies and procedures, it is mandatory for an adult leader to accompany each student to ensure the quality of our Ky Student Worship Camp experience. For larger church groups, please ensure that one adult leader is sent for every five students of the same gender.
Opposite-gender chaperones are welcome and may serve as a student's primary chaperone during daytime activities, including classes, meals, worship, and social activities. Chaperones are also welcome to attend our adult leader sessions.
Students and chaperones stay in the Boyce dorms in suite-style rooms. Chaperones stay in separate suites and may share with one other chaperone. Chaperone suites are located in the same hallway as same-gender student(s). For overnight housing and dorm supervision, students must be assigned a same-gender dorm chaperone. If a student already knows a same-gender chaperone attending camp, that person may serve in this role. If not, camp staff can help connect the student with a same-gender dorm chaperone before camp.
