The Lord has blessed Bowling Green and surrounding areas with an influx of people from Afghanistan over the past few years.
Most of these people are refugees fleeing from persecution. Several area churches and agencies are working together to provide the support these families will need as they assimilate into American culture, the workforce, schools, and other acts of service. Refuge BG is providing services such as help with immigration, driver’s education, employment, English tutoring, and more! Recently, an area church has seen two families come to Christ and are working with an Afghan national who is a strong believer to begin the process of starting a church!
