AMS Brian Horton states the Raceland area has great potential for a new church plant.
While there are currently churches in the area, there are plenty of unchurched and lost people to both fill these churches and support several new works. One of the possibilities comes in the accessibility of the homes to the potential church planting team. Horton says that a person could easily park in one area and visit multiple homes in a day (visitation or outreach).
