Louisville—Todd Robertson, former pastor of Antioch Church in Louisville, started his new position Dec. 1 as director of missions for the state’s largest Baptist Association, Long Run, encompassing Jefferson County.

Robertson, a former NAMB missionary, is a graduate of Liberty University, Mid-America Baptist Seminary, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has spent 19 years serving Long Run Association as a former moderator, missions strategist, chairman of the church planting team, and as a member of the executive board for the association.

“This marks an exciting and very challenging transition,” Robertson shared in a Facebook post. “I leave my role as the planter/staff pastor of Antioch Church, Louisville, after visioning and serving for the last almost eight years with our incredible gospel family. Praise God, our family will continue to be in and serve with the Antioch family.

“By God’s grace, I now have the privilege of serving the 166 churches that make up the LRBA,” he said, describing his role as being “a resource and catalyst” to churches in living out their call to fulfill the Great Commission.

“I love this city,” he continued, “and am excited to see how God will allow our partnerships for the sake of the gospel to see city transformation and result in many becoming multiplying followers of Christ.”

Eric Allen, the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s missions mobilization team leader, noted that Robertson brings a wealth of experience as a missional strategist and church planter to his new role as Long Run’s director of Missions.

“Almost 87 percent of Jefferson County is unchurched,” Allen said, “and I’m confident that Todd will provide the strategic leadership needed to address church planting and revitalization.” (WR)
