Louisville—Staff and volunteer church leaders won’t need to drive far to find inspiration and heaps of relevant information at Equip 2016.
The multi-discipline training event plans to make eight stops across the state, beginning Aug. 15.
“Our goal is to offer Equip within an hour’s drive of every Kentucky Baptist church at some point in the tour,” said Kentucky Baptist Convention Church Consulting and Revitalization Team Leader Steve Rice.
The popular church leader training event features more than 30 Southern Baptist experts in such fields as discipleship, evangelism and Sunday School.
Rice said Kentucky Baptist church leaders, staff and volunteers will gain valuable insight about leading effective ministry programs for youth, women, preschool and children.
Other classes to explore include church finances, security, revitalization, worship and music.
