Eddie Torres has been the Multi Language Planting & Development Associate at the Kentucky Baptist Convention for eight years. Before that, he worked with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) planting churches in Tennessee and Kentucky. He considers it a pleasure to work with other cultures, integrate with them, and learn about their culture. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Multicultural Ministry from Baptist University of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas. He also has a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is happily married to Noemí Torres, and they have two children. Their eldest son got married last summer. He is finishing his university, and their daughter is finishing a degree in accounting.
How Eddie helps churches:
In this ethnic church planting position, Eddie helps plant churches among Nepalese, Burmese, and African groups. In addition to that, he also serves as a consultant for ethnic churches in Kentucky.
