Jake Hancock has been the Regional Campus Minister of Eastern Kentucky University and the southeast region of Kentucky since 2019. He is committed to seeing the next generation of college students reached with the gospel and become life-long disciple makers. His passion is developing college students to become leaders and gospel ambassadors in every sphere of influence, present and future. Jake holds a Masters in Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to his MDiv, he has a B.S. in Hospitality Management and Tourism from the University of Kentucky. Jake is married to his wife Emily and they have 4 boys under the age of 4. They recently adopted their new sons and his family of 6 lives in Richmond, Ky. He serves as a leader in his church, Ashland Church, as a Bible Fellowship Leader. His hobbies include golf, hiking, wake-boarding, and reading (mostly audible).
How Jake helps churches:
Jake helps churches in his region by preaching on Sunday mornings and teaching when needed. He also leads a ministry that is the tip of the spear on EKU’s campus for evangelism and missions. He supports local church mission efforts by equipping college students to go to the ends of the earth. Jake also trains church leaders in evangelism and discipleship.
