My staff and I get asked that question throughout the course of our travels as we share about the value of a degree from Clear Creek to those whom God has called to Christian Service. I always have a three-part answer that I am ready to share with people to answer that question.
First, Clear Creek is accredited. We hold the same accreditation that all the larger universities hold in Kentucky. So, that means we are held accountable to the same standards that other institutions are held to. Second, Clear Creek is affordable. We have one of the lowest tuition rates in the country for Bible colleges like us. Third, Clear Creek is accessible. With the offering of our bachelor’s degree completely online, Clear Creek is now accessible from anywhere in the world.
Student Michael Deland just finished the coursework for his bachelor’s degree online. He recently shared his appreciation of a Clear Creek degree.
“I serve as the senior pastor at Reed Springs Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Tenn.,” said DeLand. “To be able to pastor while attending Clear Creek has been an incredible blessing to my ministry. I am blessed to be married to my lovely bride, Susan, who is the mother of my two incredible children, Ainsley and Micah. My children are still very young, so our household is always full of crazy excitement.
“I am excited to say that I just finished my last semester at this wonderful school as I completed my coursework for my pastoral ministries degree. Afterward, I will be working towards a master’s degree and am praying about further direction for my education. One aspect of my past that is of interest to some is that I am a veteran of the United States Navy. I served aboard a couple different submarines serving as a Quartermaster (Navigation). My time in the military was a valuable experience.”
“I always try to encourage those looking to serve in ministry to get formal training. Clear Creek has provided that for me, and it has been so instrumental in the way that I pastor. I continually thank God for the great blessing of this school and I will continue to pray for the Clear Creek faculty, staff and alumni.”
