Eric Allen serves as the Leader of the Missions Mobilization Team and has been with the Kentucky Baptist Convention since 2000. His greatest joy is helping believers find meaning and fulfillment by using their gifts and talents in service with God. Eric is a 1982 graduate of Campbellsville College and a 1986 graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Sherry live in Shelbyville where they worship and faithfully serve through Christ Community Church. They have two grown daughters and three grandchildren.
How Eric helps churches:
Eric leads a team that is committed to equipping and encouraging believers to engage Kentucky, our nation, and the world with the gospel of Christ. He helps churches identify and meet community needs while sharing the gospel, providing assessments, training, networking and relevant resources. Eric also coordinates the work of Baptists associations and associational mission strategists, assisting with associational assessments, training, strategy development, and leader care.
